About NepalCarNews

NepalCarNews exists because car buying in Nepal usually starts with a confusing question: what will this actually cost me, once every fee and tax is added? Showroom conversations, social media groups and scattered forum posts don't make that easy to answer. We built this site to give buyers a calculator-first, independently written alternative.

What we do

We publish current price lists, variant-by-variant specifications, side-by-side comparisons, and free calculators covering on-road price, EMI, fuel and electricity running cost, and total cost of ownership. Every price we publish is labelled as an estimate, with tools provided so you can personalise the figure to your own province, financing terms and driving pattern.

What we don't do

We don't sell cars, and we don't accept payment from manufacturers or dealers in exchange for favourable placement, rankings, or comparison outcomes. Our comparison tool pulls from the same specification data published on individual model pages, so the numbers you see match wherever you look on the site.

How we handle accuracy

Vehicle pricing and specifications change with manufacturer updates, dealer offers, and Nepal's periodic tax and duty revisions. We review published figures periodically and mark update dates on relevant pages, but you should always confirm current pricing with an authorized dealer before making a purchase decision. See our editorial policy for more on how we source and update content.

Questions or corrections

If you spot outdated pricing, an incorrect spec, or want to suggest a brand or model we should add, get in touch — corrections are one of the most useful things readers can send us.
